Since 2019, Saudi Arabia accepts e-visas to enter the country.

Citizens of the GCC (the Gulf Cooperation Council) countries, as well as the citizens and legal residents of Saudi Arabia, are exempted from the Saudi Arabia e-Visa obligation.


E-VISA APPLICATION – SAUDI ARABIA

You will find below the information you need to know about this visa as well as the process to apply for the online visa

E-VISA INFORMATION

  • Saudi Arabia only issues tourist visas
  • e-Visa is valid for one year from the issuing date
  • Your passport must be valid for the required six months forth from your trip.
  • The validity of your passport is essential to obtain your e-visa
    Your e-visa may become invalid if:
    – your passport expires
    – you have lost / changed your passport
  • each stay cannot be longer than 90 days at a time
  • The cost of an e-visa is 480 SAR – included the COVID 19 insurance

E-VISA APPLICATION

When applying for an e-visa online, you will need to have these documents in your possession:

  • valid passport for at least six months ahead of the planned trip to Saudi
  • an active e-mail address onto which e-Visa is sent
  • photograph of the applicant

In addition, you will need to fill in the following information:

  • planned departure date (if you don’t have a booked flight yet, put an approximate departure date)
  • Your name and surname
  • Your birth date
  • An active e-mail address
  • Phone number
  • The purpose of your travel – Please note “TOURISM”
  • Your nationality

SAUDI ARABIA – COVID 19 – INFORMATION

To enter Saudi Arabia, it is necessary to comply with the following COVID 19 requirements:

– Provide a negative PCR test conducted no more than 72 hours before departure
– Have COVID 19 insurance. This insurance is included in all new tourism visa issues. If you are entering on a previously issued tourism visa, you will need to pay an additional fee of SAR 40 at the airport on arrival to cover insurance for any COVID-19 related medical expenses
– All visitors arriving in the country with a valid tourism visa must provide evidence of a full course of the vaccines currently recognized:

  • 2 doses of : Pfizer BioNTech or Comirnaty
  • 2 doses of : Oxford AstraZeneca, Covishield, SK Bioscience or Vaxzevri
  • 2 doses of : Moderna or Spikevax
  • 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson

If you do not have a complete vaccination schedule, a 5-day quarantine is mandatory in a designated hotel.
Travelers are advised to book the quarantine package through the airline on which they are arriving

For Travelers who have completed two doses of the Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccines will be accepted on the condition that they have received an additional dose of one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom mentioned in the above paragraph
Vaccine certificates issued by official health authorities from the country that provided the vaccination for incoming travelers must be provided. The final dose (the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the first dose of a single dose vaccine) should be received no less than 14 days before traveling to Saudi.
